Okay I've been trying to figure out how to post a video from YouTube since it's been a few months and I can't remember how to do it. I'm thinking this particular video isn't available for embedding into external sites anyways. At any rate I can at least copy and paste the URL so you can click on that and see this video. The dad laughing made me laugh just as hard as the little boy being pleased with himself.

Random

Santa brought Zachary a new bicycle for Christmas. He was excited to try it out and a yesterday he did just that. I let him ride it down the street and he actually did pretty good for the first time being on an actual bike.

Santa also brought him this Thomas the Train scooter. I think it will take a little time before Zach gets the hang of this one (no training wheels on the scooter!).

As always Addison had fun watching her big brother.

Grandmama and Pop gave Zachary this t-ball set. I realize he's standing at the plate wrong but he's getting really good at hitting the ball.

I have a pretty Camellia bush outside my kitchen window. It blooms every "winter." It's so nice to have some color this time of year.

And last I wanted to take a picture of the front of our house so y'all can all see how pretty it is decorated for Christmas (if I do say so myself - thank you very much!). It is prettier at night when it's all lit up.

Addison gets a job

Addison recently got a job hosting at a Japanese restaurant. She wanted to try on her hostess uniform so I took some pictures.

Better late than never??

Okay I have to admit that my memory is really starting to get bad. I didn't necessarily forget all of these birthdays but I did forget to give them a shout out. I will start with a very belated happy birthday to my sister Angie. Angie is an amazing mom and a wonderful sister. I miss her tons since she lives in KS. I wish we could get together a lot more often than we do. I hope you had a good birthday Angie. Sorry this is SO late (her bday was Nov. 6th).

Another pretty belated happy birthday goes out to my good friend, Mauri. We have been best friends since high school. We even made it through living together in college which people told us not to do! She is also an amazing mother and such a good friend. I wish we could see each other more often. I hope you had a good birthday (Nov. 14th) as well Moe!


The most belated happy birthday goes to Jason's Grandmother, Mildred (a.k.a. Memaw). We are so lucky to get to see her from time to time (although not nearly enough for only being an hour away). We love her dearly are very happy that she can see Zachary and Addison grow. We are really looking forward to seeing her this Christmas. Hope you had a great birthday (Nov. 1st) Memaw!


And last but definitely not least is my Grandmother, Maxine. I miss her dearly. I wish we could get back to KS to see her a lot more than we do now. She is such a wonderful woman and I wish we could have been with her to celebrate her birthday (which was Monday the 17th). Hope you had a good day yesterday Grandma! (By the way if my belly looks big in this picture it's because I am pregnant with Addison!)

Zachary's Christmas Program

This morning we went to Zachary's Christmas program that he has been working on in school. It was so precious to see all of those little kids up there singing. Zachary walks around the house singing all the time. As you can see from the pictures below he must have gotten stage fright! He warmed up some during the program. Here are a few pictures.

Okay I just had to post this picture of Addison. I sent it to my family because it was so funny and my mom wrote back that she looks like a character from South Park. Which is funny but even funnier because my mom doesn't even watch the show so I was surprised to hear her say that. I have to say I kind of agree. At any rate I knew it would bring a smile to everyone who sees it.

This is what happens when Momma gets bored....

Today Jason was busy most of the day doing this and that so I was home with the kids trying to keep us all entertained. It was super warm today (especially for being December) which I was happy about because I bought this darling outfit for Addison (when she was first born) and it fits her now. I was hoping she could wear it next spring but my chunky monkey is a little bigger than I anticipated. Since I love the outfit so much (and the little girl in it) I decided to have some fun with the camera. Zachary even got in on the action. I know there are a ton of pictures but believe me there were a lot more. This is what I narrowed it down to (unfortunately Zachary didn't stick around very long for the picture taking). Enjoy!

Todays Modeling Session

Happy Birthday Martin!

Today is my father in law's birthday. Happy Birthday Martin! He is a wonderful father and grandfather (aka "Pop"). For his birthday he got to go to the Saints game yesterday with Jason and John. The guys had a great time (despite Reggie Bush's stupid pass that lost the game!). We hope you have a great day!!!!

Zachary's Birthday Party

We had Zachary's 4th birthday party yesterday. It was a beautiful day for it. Thank goodness because the whole thing was outside. I invited his whole class and a few other kids. Unfortunately people are famous down here for not calling to say they won't make it and then just not showing up. We only had about 12 kids there but it turned out to be a good number. We rented a spacewalk and that was a ton of fun. I even got in there and tried it out. I think the biggest hit at the party was Jason though. He brought out a bunch of balloons that he and Zachary bought one time and was blowing them up and making animals and swords out of them. The kids wouldn't leave his side! He was asked to make a giraffe, an alligator, and a ladder (among other things). Right now his skills are more on the weiner dog and sword level. I have no doubt that he will become a master balloon animal maker. The other moms were asking if they could rent him out for their kids party. We had a wonderful time and Zachary loved having his friends over to his house. Here are a few pictures from yesterday.....
