Pre-Thanksgiving Pictures

The kids and I actually went to the bay the weekend before Thanksgiving. Jason was out in Texas on business and drove all the way to Gulf Shores on Saturday. It was the last weekend of Snapper fishing and he hadn't been able to go because we had soccer every weekend. Here are a few pictures from that weekend. On Saturday Martin & John went out fishing. Zachary was very anxious for them to get back so he wasn't the only boy. The weather was really nice so the kids played out on the pier.

Zachary is using the hose sprayer as a gun. Typical boy!Addie splashing her brother with water.

Zachary is waiting for Pop & Unlce John to come back from fishing. He thought he'd pass the time by fishing himself.
He sees them! He sees them!
You can see their boat in the background.
Zach is so happy Pop & Uncle John are back!
John with (I think) the biggest King Mackerel they've ever caught.
Martin with two of the big Red Snappers.
I think these fish are so pretty. They are Dolphin Fish...aka Mahi Mahi. This is a small one. The big ones are absolutely beautiful.
On Sunday, Jason FINALLY got to go out Snapper fishing (the very last day). It was super rough out and I think all three guys were happy to be back on dry land. I wish he could have been with John & Martin the day before because they said it was calm and the water was very clear (they even got to see a Sea Turtle....jealous!!). Even though it was rough on Sunday they did catch their limit on Snapper and got some really big ones!!

Thanksgiving at the Bay

For Thanksgiving this year we went to the bay. Most of the time the weather was great. Warm enough to wear shorts and a t-shirt. On Friday it got real windy and rainy. Today when we left it was sunny but chilly. Which I actually thought felt great! On Thanksgiving Day Jason and I took the kids down to Fort Morgan to explore the old fort. Most of it was closed but we walked around a few spots that were in front of the main fort.
The kids actually let me take some pictures of them. Zachary is in desperate need of a haircut but still cute!! Addie has the flash light gun that the kids used to look inside the dark rooms.
I think this is a sweet picture of Jason & Addie.
Zachary is picking the sand spurs off his shoe. They were every where!
This little guy was crawling on the steps when we got back to the house.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!

Addie

I took the kids' picture last Monday for our Christmas card. Obviously I don't want to post the pictures before you all receive our card but I did want to share this picture of Addie. I just love it.

Wacky Tacky Tuesday

A couple of weeks ago was Say No to Drugs at Zach's school. Each day they did something different. One day was wear red, one day was wear a crazy hat, etc. On Tuesday they were supposed to dress Wacky. Here is what Z and I came up with.....

The Bribe (cont.)

Here is the second location. The kids had fun crawling up the fence.
I told Zachary to give Addie a kiss on the top of her head. Addie wasn't having any of it.
Some flowers that I saw.
Here is the third location. I told Zach he didn't have to smile if he didn't want to.
I told Addie after the third location that we needed to go home. She was upset that we weren't going any where else. I drove past these plants on the way home so I told her we'd make one more stop. I thought they might make some good color in the background. It looks like Zachary is being forced to pose but I told him he didn't have to get out of the car if he didn't want to!
I can't wait to keep practicing!!!
