We had a nice weekend. The weather was great (well at least Saturday it was). Addison tried out the pool she got for her birthday from my parents. I must say she looks beautiful in it.
We got out the slide that Jason bought last summer. Zachary had a blast on it. Last year his legs were a little too short to climb up the back by himself but this year he could do it easily.

Addison loves playing the clubhouse.
Over the past couple months Jason has been teaching Zachary all about space and the planets. We are proud to say he can name all of them. Don't know many four year olds that can name all of the planets! He knows which ones are cold and which are hot. Which are small and which are farthest away from the Earth. Every night they go on an adventure in his room before bedtime. They put on their helmets and climb into the rocket ship (Z's bed) and blast off to two different planets and look for treasure. I really should set up the video camera so Zachary can look back on it. My point in telling you all of this is so you will know why I took these next pictures. Later that day (Saturday) while I was running and Addie was napping Jason drew the planets on the sidewalk with chalk. Zachary could name all of them just by looking at the drawings. Jason says it's because of his mad chalk drawing skills. I must admit they are pretty good! I thought I would share a few.....

These three are the Milky Way, a Black Hole, and something else (I can't remember).
Here is a shot of Mars that Zachary took himself. Made me laugh because his cute little foot is in the picture.
And lastly I wanted to share a picture from today of our beautiful boy. This was taken right before we left for a birthday party for one of his classmates.

Zachary wanted to ride the carousel. Of all the animals he could have picked from to ride on he chose the bench. Go figure.

How would you like to meet this guy in the jungle.

I actually did have a little seafood. I've recently discovered that I don't mind boiled/steamed shrimp. These particular shrimp are called Royal Reds which are supposed to be better than just your normal shrimp. I have to admit they were pretty darn good. I had Sarah take a picture because I wasn't sure my friends and family in Kansas would believe I ate them.

We had a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant if you live down here.
One of her new favorite things to do is pull grass from the ground and then clap until all the blades have fallen out of her hands.
