Charity Ball

Last Saturday night we went to a Charity Ball that the Junior Auxiliary puts on every year. I have never been to a ball before so I was really excited. My sister in law, Sarah, is in the J.A. so I knew we'd at least know her and John. Turns out I knew quite a few people from tennis there. We had so much fun. It was at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. We decided to stay the night so the kids spent the night with Jason's parents. (Thanks Martin and Linda!!) The place where they had it was really neat. The downstairs had tables set up and a really nice buffet. There was also a stage (this is where they hold concerts) and a great band was playing that night. Upstairs there were a couple hundred items you could bid on (silent auction) so we enjoyed looking at all of it and bidding on a few things. I actually won an autographed tennis ball of Andre Agassi. I'm hoping it's his real signature. If it's not at least the money went to charity (it's a children's charity). It was so much fun and I look forward to going again next year!
