Our baby's growing up.....

Tomorrow Zachary starts Kindergarten. I cannot believe he's going to big kid school. He is SOOO incredibly excited about it though. We have his big kid back pack ready to go and his new Mario Kart lunch box. I am so excited about his new school. As most of you may know I got him approved for an out of district transfer so that he could go to Bayou View Elementary. It is a 5 star school and the top elementary in the state of Mississippi. 18 of his classmates from preschool are going there as well. Unfortunately he only has one in his class (there are five! kindergarten classes). However, they all go out to recess at the same time so he will be able to play with all of his buddies. We can even go eat lunch with him whenever we want. They actually eat lunch at 10:45. Crazy! They do start school at 7:20 so I guess it's not that weird. I hope he can sleep tonight. We have to get up pretty early tomorrow morning. I will take pictures and post them tomorrow.

Today we had a 'meet the teacher day.' When I enrolled him they gave me a list of supplies to bring and so we brought them today as well. Here is Zach and Jason walking up to the school.

Here is Avery, the one buddy from Trinity (preschool). I didn't take a picture of his teacher. I didn't want to freak her out. Maybe I'll try for one tomorrow.

Zach made himself at home and opened a book.

They have sinks in the hallway (at the perfect height) for the kids to wash their hands. Zach wanted to try one out.

We went and looked at the cafeteria and the library. They have a puppet show stand.
