There is this fantastic website for photographers called The Pioneer Woman. She is an amazing photographer and really gives good advice to those of us who don't particularly know what we are doing quite yet. From time to time she gives "assignments" where you are suppose to submit pictures you've taken of certain things (i.e. - kids, animals, flowers, etc.). One of her recent assignments was to take one of her photos and do with it whatever you would like. Here is a link to some of the things people did with it. Anyways, I didn't get too creative but it was fun to mess around with Photoshop and Picasa. I only did a couple because I have so much else I should be doing tonight. But here are the two that I did.
The first one is her picture untouched.

This one I added a couple layers of color.

This one I didn't do much else except add a glow to it.

Connie Hocking told me about this woman. She loves her recipes. She must be an amazing person to get herself out there like she has. Is there anything she can't do? I like your photos best of all, although some are really pretty clever.
I've always thought the PW photo assignments would be fun but never have time to do one! After November 5 I hope I'll actually be able to participate! :)
