Zachary's first day of Kindergarten was today. Here he is getting ready to get in the car.
I walked him into school. Of course we had to stop and take a picture in front of the school sign!!
Here he is walking down the hall to his classroom. He remembered which was his.

Jason picked him up from school. He said he had fun and enjoyed it. That's about it. Hopefully after he's rested a bit he'll give us a little more detail.

This reminds me of how my mom said when Don was going into kindergarten she walked him to the school several times over the summer so that he would know where to go and what to do on the first day, and when the first day came, she sent him off to school just like they had practiced. Not very long later, he showed back up at the house saying that he had forgot what to do! I know I'm not telling it as well as she could (since I wasn't there, obviously!), but I know that's the jist of what happened. So it's good you actually TOOK him to the school on his first day! ha ha
Glad Zachary got off to such a good start in school. It is hard for me to believe it is time for school already. Whatever happened to starting right after Labor Day? Guess that was decades ago. Go get 'em, Zach!!
